Below are the materials we fit in lofts:
Aluminium Loft Ladders
We offer both 2 section and 3 section loft ladders. These are made by Youngman, which we believe to be the most reliable around at the moment.
The 3 section is more suitable for a higher ceiling height, has a pivot arm which helps with the ease of folding away and has a handrail. If requested, a handrail can be added to a 2 section also.

Wooden Loft Ladders
We find that the Youngman wooden loft ladder is popular currently. We fit these with integrated hatches and also fit architrave.
Loft Hatches
We offer a choice here. Either a modification of your current loft hatch or a upvc draught-proof, insulated, drop down hatch. Loft access hatches must drop down to accommodate ladders. The upvc hatches come complete with a lever to raise it and put your ladder away with. These are very popular.
Loft Boarding
We use 8ft x 2ft humidity treated tongue and groove boarding to floor lofts, to create a suitable storage base. This is laid onto a timber brace.
Loft Insulation
We offer a few different loft insulation services. Our most popular is 200mm thick wool insulation.

For added loft storage packages, we also offer plastering. If you would like your loft walls boarded and plastered, we have over 10 years of experience behind us and are experts in plastering techniques. If you have your walls boarded, we can also insulate behind, creating a draught free, warmer loft.
We fit electrical lighting and sockets. A choice of pendant or fluorescent strip light in loft storage packages, fitted on an independent electric circuit, or for a Bespoke Loft Conversion, any lights requested by you. Also an option are roof windows. We prefer to use Velux, a name known for quality. Roof windows come in various sizes, depending upon your requirements.
